Hi folks, I just wanted to inform you that we will introduce from today something new in blogadvertisingstore’s Terms & Conditions: we do not accept in our network blogs with Alexa value above 2.000.000.
I will tell you why.
A “get paid to post” network is just a platform where bloggers are connected with advertisers. Blogherald is stating (here) that the number of blogs now exceeds 50 million worldwide. Can you imagine that? Of course, there are webmasters with more then one blog. Everything is fine, so far. A weblog is an online journal, where people express thoughts, write about them, about their family. They can also write about products they like, services and so on.
But for those who want to advertise their products and services on these blogs there is a criteria that must be accomplished: the number of visitors a blog receives.
You see, If you would like to promote your product, where would you go to present it? In a place where live 50 people or in a highly populated place? The answer is obvious. You have to have audience, interested people in what you are selling. This is… advertising.
How Blog Advertising Works?
Since the advent of the Internet, Internet advertising has been very popular. Many companies, groups and businesses have taken exploit this opportunity and you can see displayed on each Web page you visit. Each consumer can search using search engines and type the keyword in relation to what they are looking for, then press search, and they are numerous. It is a fast and cheap publicity.
It is really easy for all Business-to-one personalized website, with which they promote, directly interact with the client more information about their products and services. Regular newsletter, discounts can be inserted on the ground, in the interest of website visitors.
I know blogger networks with 100.000+ bloggers subscribed. When advertisers create a new opportunity they look after two main factors:
- PageRank
- Alexa value
PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance within the set.
Alexa rankings are based upon only Alexa Tool Bar users who visit your site and then used to calculate and estimate the traffic.
To check your site’s Alexa ranking, visit alexa.com and click the “Traffic Ranking” tab near the top of the screen. Then enter the web site URL. The next page should show a screenshot of its home page, its popularity ranking, trends regarding traffic increases or decreases, which countries it is the most popular in, and other information. While ratings like 450,000 or 873,000 may seem poor to people unfamiliar with Alexa, they are actually fairly good;
There are blogs with no visitors and Pagerank 3 or 4. But we DO NOT sell PageRank, blogadvertisingstore isn’t a SEO company but an advertising company. And we want advertisers to actually advertise on blogs.
We are receiving each day hundreds of blog submissions but unfortunately we disapprove about 80% of them. But there are still good quality blogs.
The most common rejection reason is the lack of articles/posts. I saw hundreds of blogs with… one (1) post, and that’s all.
As we stated in our TOS:
Blogs must be live for a minimum of ninety (90) days, counted from the date of the blog’s first post, with at least twenty (20) pre-existing posts written in the 90 days prior to registration with the blogadvertisingstore Marketplace.
Another common reason is the excess of outgoing links, blinking (annoying) pictures. Usually these kind of websites can be compared with a Christmas tree. Would anybody see a spot hided between the brenches of a Christmas tree? I wouldn’t. Most of the visitors wouldn’t.
Got the idea?
We want to deliver traffic, interested customers, buyers. Bloggers get paid for sending once in a while these visitors to the advertiser’s websites.
So, we are sorry for all blogs with no visitors but a few. These blog owners can attract visitors by:
- Writing unique content posts
- Keeping a clean website
- Optimizing the Meta Tags in order to get better rankings in Search Engines
- Submitting your blog to relevant web directories
You will see that following these simple tips in a few weeks visitors will knock at your door. And then you can tell them about a great product you saw somewhere…
Cheers.
